The Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol's Undergraduate Scholarship Scheme is being introduced in September 2011. £100,000 is earmarked each year for the scheme, which is being offered to students studying a range of degree courses - either in full or in part - through the medium of Welsh.
In fact, you could receive up to £1,000 a year (or up to £3,000 by the time you finish your course) for completing some of your studies through the medium of Welsh.
150 scholarships are provided every year, and these awards are split between two sub-schemes, namely the Lead Scholarships scheme and the Incentive Scholarships.
You must be a member of the Coleg Cymraeg Cenedlaethol to be able to apply for a scholarship, and you can become a member by filling out a form
